What’s writing really about? It’s about trying to take fuller possession of the reality of your life.
There is no better way to know us Than as two wolves, come separately to a wood.
The Shell The sea fills my ear with sand and with fear. You may wash out the sand, but never the sound of the ghost of the sea that is haunting me.
You could become internationally famous – you’re Gemini, and according to antique authority have a literary talent, which of course your letters prove.

And you will never know what a battle I fought to keep the meaning of my words Solid with the world we were making.
So this was the reverse of dazzling Nauset. The flip of the coin – the flip of an ocean fallen Dream-face down. And here, at my feet, in the suds, The other face, the real, staring upwards.

Before the palefaces came among us, we enjoyed the happiness of unbounded freedom and were acquainted with neither riches, wants, nor oppression.
Live your life that the fear of death can never enter your heart.
Sell a country?! Why not sell the air, the great sea, as well as the earth? Did not the Great Spirit make them all for the use of his children?
Trouble no one about their religion; respect others in their view and demand that they respect yours.
I have made myself what I am. And I would that I could make the red people as great as the conceptions of my own mind, when I think of the Great Spirit that rules over us all.
Since my residence at Tippecanoe, we have endeavored to level all distinctions, to destroy village chiefs, by whom all mischiefs are done. It is they who sell the land to the Americans.
Always give a word or sign of salute when meeting or passing a friend, or even a stranger, if in a lonely place.
When Jesus Christ came upon the Earth, you killed Him. The son of your own God. And only after He was dead did you worship Him and start killing those who would not.
The Great Spirit made all things. He gave the white people a home beyond the great waters. He supplied these grounds with game, and gave them to his red children; and he gave them strength and courage to defend them.
Brothers, the white people are like poisonous serpents: when chilled they are feeble and harmless, but invigorate them with warmth and they sting their benefactors to death.

A big part of the humor is in identifying with the tragic elements of the film. The New Zealand sense of humor is very dark. Our films are usually very dark and it’s always someone being killed. Usually a child.
There are lots of parts of filmmaking that I don’t like. At the end of the day, especially on features, the film turns into a commodity. You have to play this entirely new game I’m very uncomfortable with.
I distinctly remember watching Annie when I was very little and thinking ‘I don’t like this kid.’ In fact I think I remember thinking ‘I don’t like any of these kids.’ That’s all I remember.
Sundance felt like a natural fit. I love coming here, and I do think that this festival suits my films rather than most of the festivals I’ve been to. I’m not going to Cannes, you know.
I might revisit – I like the idea of doing something else with [Hunt for the Wilderpeople characters]. But also I get bored of doing the same thing again. I just get bored.
I never wanted to be a filmmaker. I still, sometimes, think I got sidetracked by this, like this is a tangent. My main thing was painting; I was just going to do that.
I have to keep reminding myself that I was hired for a reason and one of those reasons is because of the stories I tell and the films I’ve made previously.
I constantly remind myself that there are terrible movies out there. I try to watch them, some of them, to give myself an understanding of what not to do.
I’ve always been a relaxed person on set, but I think the main thing is I think about it from an editing point of view way more than I did before.
Short film: you can be poetic and you don’t have to answer anything. You can make whatever you want. You have creative freedom with short film.

To lead a country, you must periodically hold a national consultation in which people representing different programmes can make a bid for power.
A modern civilization is only possible when it is accepted that singular beings exist and express themselves freely.
People must insist on the right to say no, to be alone, to stand out from the herd. Creative artists can say all this in their own way and in their own field, by hard, rigorous work.
I am glad I have found a readership, but one can’t write only what is likely to sell. A writer is not a shopkeeper.
It is through accepting other people in our own countries that we shall come to respect our neighbours and be respected in our turn.
I write about wounds, the eternal treasons of life. It’s not very funny, but it’s sincere. My commitment is to sincerity.
I have written about the dispossessed, immigrants, the condition of women who do not enjoy the same legal rights as men, the Palestinians who are deprived of their land and condemned to exile.
My characters are driven by a passionate desire for justice. They are rebellious and incorruptible.
New ideas should confront old ideas. We must refer to the example of Europe. People have fought to make Europe what it is today. Freedom is not something that is served up on a plate.
It is impossible to disregard such an important medium as television. We should know how to use it, learn to work in it and express new values in it.

I wasn’t trying to be rich or famous; I was trying to figure out what is this thing in me that won’t let me sleep that makes me restless and makes me keep pushing. I was trying to discover who I was.
No woman wants to be in submission to a man who isn’t in submission to God!
Never make a permanent decision about a temporary situation.
May the passion to be all that God wants you to be sweep across your soul like a gentle breeze.
Eagles fly where lesser birds cannot fly, so eagles can do what lesser birds cannot do.
The low-grade plagiarism of popularity will never lead you to true contentment.
What woman would not appreciate a God who becomes her attorney, assumes her case, requires no fee, and wins her the victory?
You don’t have to be in church service to worship, you can be in your own home. You enhance your spirituality, through the instrument of worship, when you really connect with the invisible, almighty God.
A whole woman will always attract a whole man. And when they touch, they will fuse to create a whole marriage. Ultimately, when the time is right, they will produce whole children.
There may be challenges or crosses that may have delayed your goals temporarily, but now it’s time to move forward.

One of today’s leading talents across both independent and mainstream film, Logan Lerman is an immensely talented actor who takes on challenging roles and brings dynamic characters to life on screen.
Logan was born in Beverly Hills, to a Jewish family. His parents are Lisa (Goldman), who worked as his manager, and Larry Lerman, an orthotist and businessman. He has two siblings, Lindsey and Lucas, both older. His family operate the orthotics and prosthetics company Lerman & Son, which was founded by his great-grandfather, Jacob Lerman.
When he was two and a half years old, Logan told his mother that he wanted to be an actor. At the age of four, Logan had an agent and was booked for two commercials. He made his big screen debut as William, the youngest son of Mel Gibson’s character, in Roland Emmerich’s war drama The Patriot (2000) and then appeared as the younger version of Gibson’s character Nick Marshall in Nancy Meyers’s romantic comedy What Women Want (2000). After a small role in 2001’s Riding in Cars with Boys (2001), by “Penny Marshall,” he starred in the John Grisham adaptation A Painted House (2003), a made-for-television film that won him the first of his three Young Artist Awards.

It’s like, to me, acting is like a child walking in the park, the better the actor, the greater the playground he has.
I’d say a man is someone who is honest, strong-minded, moral, genuine, just a good human being.
One day, I’ll stop making weird faces in pictures. But not today.
Life is a rollercoaster ride and I don’t intend on being the one screaming and hanging on for dear life.
I would add a little more love in the world. It’s ridiculous, I know, but it is one thing I would do.

Andrea Donna de Matteo, called Drea (pronounced “dray”), was born on January 19, 1972 in Queens, New York, into an affluent family, the youngest of three children and the only girl. She is the daughter of Donna, a playwright and playwriting teacher at HB Studio in New York, and Albert A. De Matteo, a furniture manufacturer. She is of Italian descent. De Matteo spent her early childhood in Queens, and the family then moved to the Upper East Side in Manhattan, into Aretha Franklin’s former townhouse.
De Matteo decided to pursue a directing career at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, perhaps because of the brief moment when, as a girl, she was brought onstage out of the audience and dazzled by the stage lights when she was seeing the play “Cats,” perhaps because of her mother’s involvement in the entertainment business. Once she was in school, however, it was the acting classes that attracted her greatest interest, and she decided on an acting career. After a screen debut in an obscure independent and a small part in a small movie, Meet Prince Charming (2002), de Matteo auditioned for a one-episode part in the HBO series The Sopranos (1999). She impressed the producers enough that they expanded the role as Adriana La Cerva, girlfriend to up-and-coming Soprano family soldier Christopher Moltisanti (Michael Imperioli), and she eventually became a regular on the show. De Matteo had the right sultry beauty to portray Adriana, but her acting skills greatly fleshed out the character, making her as rich and complex a character as a slightly ditzy gangster’s girlfriend can be in the first place—humorous, even charming in a way, and, ultimately, tragic. She won an Emmy award for her portrayal of Adriana in 2004.

A happiness that won’t stand up to examination is less than worthless.
I definitely play roles that are close to my persona. I was dying to be an actor, my whole life. I just always wanted to be someone else. Then, once I decided that I really thought I was pretty cool, I wanted to see myself.
I’ve been in so many funeral scenes from The Sopranos, and I think I’ve even been in one on Sons of Anarchy. Those scenes, as a human being, are the most tedious scenes, of all time. You’re waiting, all day, in the blistering hot heat. So, I didn’t need to be there.
I First of all, I would shoot myself if I ever had to play straight-forward characters that really don’t have much of a past. Maybe it’s just that I’m not a good enough actor to have to embellish, but I like having these really, really rich roles to play.
I’m tired of the industry, tired of playing the whole game – the dressing up, the red carpet. I hate talking about myself.

An extremely gifted, versatile performer adept at both comedy and drama, actress/singer Katey Sagal became a household name in the late 1980s as the fabulously brazen, undomesticated Peg Bundy on the enduring Fox series Married with Children (1987). During its lengthy run she received three Golden Globe and two American Comedy Award nominations. As popular and identifiable as her Peg Bundy persona was, Katey assertively moved on after the show went off the air, not only starring in other sitcoms and television movies, but portraying characters that were polar opposites of the outrageous role that first earned her nationwide attention. For example, in 2008 she took on the role of Gemma Teller Morrow, the matriarch of a Hell’s- Angels-esque California biker gang, on the series Sons of Anarchy (2008), and in 2011 her portrayal earned her a Golden Globe Award for Best Performance by an Actress in the Television Series–Drama.
Catherine Louise Sagal was born on January 19, 1954, to director and singer Sara Zwilling and noted television and film director Boris Sagal. The Los Angeles native began performing at age 5 and studied voice and acting at the California Institute of the Arts in Valencia, California.

The reason people are watching women in their mid-fifties is because a lot of those women feel great and have different, interesting stories to tell.
It’s sort of the mixed blessing of being on television for so long in one thing; sometimes that backfires, in that you’re not able to continue on.
I’ve done comedy most of my career, which I love, but I wanted to expand.
I think the biggest change has been realizing I now have three children.
There’s so many great songs already written, it’s kind of really wonderful you don’t have to write your own.

After graduating from Thomas Jefferson High School, she attended Lamar State College and the University of Texas, where she played autoharp in Austin bars. bars. She was nominated for the Ugliest Man on Campus in 1963, and she spent two years traveling, performing, and becoming drug addicted. Dolly Parton, in full Dolly Rebecca Parton, (born January 19, 1946, Locust Ridge, Tennessee, U.S.), American country music singer, guitarist, and actress best known for pioneering the interface between country and pop music styles.
Parton was born into a poor farming family, the fourth of 12 children. She displayed an aptitude and passion for music at an early age, and as a child she was a featured singer and guitarist on local radio and television shows in Knoxville, Tennessee. In 1964, immediately following her high-school graduation, she set out for Nashville to pursue a career in music.
In Nashville, Parton became the protégé of country music singer and Grand Ole Opry star Porter Wagoner. Through repeated appearances on Wagoner’s syndicated television show, Parton gained coast-to-coast recognition. She soon attracted the attention of the music industry moguls at RCA Records and subsequently recorded more than a dozen hit songs—together with Wagoner—on the RCA label. Owing much to her association with Wagoner, Parton rapidly emerged as one of country music’s most popular singers.
