    • Social democracy seeks and finds the ways, and particular slogans, of the workers’ struggle only in the course of the development of this struggle, and gains directions for the way forward through this struggle alone.
    • Marxism is a revolutionary worldview that must always struggle for new revelations.
    • Social democracy… is only the advance guard of the proletariat, a small piece of the total working masses; blood from their blood, and flesh from their flesh.
    • The working classes in every country only learn to fight in the course of their struggles.
    • Bourgeois class domination is undoubtedly an historical necessity, but, so too, the rising of the working class against it. Capital is an historical necessity, but, so too, its grave digger, the socialist proletariat.
    • The more that social democracy develops, grows, and becomes stronger, the more the enlightened masses of workers will take their own destinies, the leadership of their movement, and the determination of its direction into their own hands.
    • Only through the conscious action of the working masses in city and country can it be brought to life, only through the people’s highest intellectual maturity and inexhaustible idealism can it be brought safely through all storms and find its way to port.

    Adam Baldwin: Birthday

    American actor
    Born: February 27, 1962

Adam Baldwin is an American actor who got into Hollywood very early in his life. He was barely in his teens when he was introduced to the world of acting. He started his career on the big screen and rose to fame as the troubled outcast Ricky Linderman in “My Bodyguard” before moving on to bigger roles in “D.C. Cab,” “Full Metal Jacket,” “Predator 2,” “Independence Day,” “The Patriot,” and “Serenity.” He has been cast in more than 60 movies in his decade-long career. Baldwin is known to usually play the tough guy on the big screen, owing to his colossal structure and deep, resonant voice. Apart from being an actor, he is a thorough sportsman. He had been an avid golf player. And as a pastime, Baldwin enjoys mountain biking, bowling, frisbee, and baseball. He also participates in celebrity hockey games. He has also contributed to many writing websites, such as “Big Hollywood” and “The Huffington Post.” Another offshoot to his striking personality is his benevolent side. He has participated in the ‘Charity Ride 2 Recovery’, a Cycling Rehabilitation Program for the wounded soldiers.

Adam Baldwin’s 5 most popular quotes

    • It was never the fame or fortune that drove me to act. It was something I love and enjoy doing it. A lot of people identify who they are by what they do and that’s not me. It’s what I do but not who I am. Who I am is a parent. I’m a family man.
    • I’m always looking, as an actor, for activities. I think it’s far more interesting to watch what people do than what they say. You always want to watch behavior, because the dialogue as written by our illustrious leaders is great. Eminently playable.
    • This is advice I would give to any young actor – if you go into a room with anybody and you come in with a positive attitude and a place of love, and you truly do love what you’re doing, then the negative energy doesn’t even get into the room. You just have to prepare, and then go in and be the best you that you can be, and you’ll either get the job or you won’t.
    • A lot of the television industry is so cookie-cutter. In general, there are so many shows that are easy and bland to watch. You can tune in at any time and know exactly where you are in the story arc because it’s pretty much the same every week.
    • Acting had always been the social scene I’d fallen into. It was sort of a merry band of band geeks and theater nerds.

    Josh Groban: Birthday

    American singer
    Born: February 27, 1981

Joshua Winslow Groban, popularly known as Josh Groban, is an American singer, songwriter, and actor with several multi-platinum albums to his credit. Although he is best known for his romantic ballad songs, he also likes to perform opera and classical songs in Italian, Spanish, and French. Groban was inspired by music at an early age, but he did not take it seriously till he was in the seventh grade and auditioned for a school event. Although his teacher was impressed with his voice and allowed him to perform a solo, he did not become popular with the kids who loved to listen to rap. He initially studied acting and decided to pursue a career in singing only later. Groban, who did not want to limit himself to one particular musical style, came to prominence with his debut album in 2001 and became the best-selling new male artist. In fact, his first four solo albums were super hits and were certified multi-platinum. In 2007, he was the number one best-selling artist in the United States. Besides his singing career, he has appeared in four films and about 22 TV series till date. Also a philanthropist, he is a member of Americans for the Arts Artists Committee, and has set up the Find Your Light Foundation to make young people aware of arts and culture.
